Located on the beach in Torre de Benagalbón, chiringuito Marina Playa is quite large with, of course, a view of the beach and sea.

The menu is mainly fishy, although there are a couple of meat items.

We had rosada (often listed as ‘hake’ which it isn’t), almejas (clams), pulpo (octopus) and langostinos (prawns) al pilpil

Whilst there is probably little difference between food offerings from chiringuito to chiringuito, what does vary, of course, is price, service and, naturally, how well the meals are cooked. Incidentally, one of the few places I have seen in recent times which has a tank full of (‘live’) lobsters for customers to peruse.
Overall a nice place to dine. Nice views, good service, quality ingredients, reasonable prices and tasty dishes.
