The Council has decided to regulate vehicular access to the Maro beaches this summer as a ‘security’ measure.
Due to the number of visitors to the area in the summer and circulatory problems caused by poor parking, access will be regulated. A shuttle bus will operate daily during the summer season from 10:00 to 20:00 and will cost €1.50 for a return ticket.

A temporary parking area is also being set up near the access point with space for 100 vehicles. This will be operated by the Taller de la Amistad, presumably with the customary ‘voluntary’ fee.

Owners and tenants of properties within the restricted area will have to go to the local police station to obtain authorisation to enter with their vehicles.

Another day, another cake…A carrot cake at Anahi in calle Puerta del Mar. Not bad, but my favourite carrot cake is still from The Good Stuff.

Mmmmm…
