It is always worthwhile keeping – and looking back through – a few images you didn’t regard as being good enough at the time as you never know. In this case, I read an article about trying a high-key effect on such images and decided to give it a go. The result was OK for a first attempt.

Time passed and I came across the (same) image again and suddenly decided to give it another whirl. Here is a side by side comparison of the before (boring sky apart from anything else) and after. Processing was done solely in Lightroom.
