Saturday saw the return of the Christmas Mile, now in its 38th year, after a hiatus caused by the dastardly plague. Numerous categories of runners, from kiddies to veterans, and the weather cleared up just in time.

It did, however, seem a lot quieter overall compared to previous years. Could be wrong (as usual), but that’s how it seemed.
