I must admit to being a fan of the e-scooter but I do wear a helmet and don’t ride in pedestrianised areas unless absolutely devoid of people. If I do occasionally ride in a pedestrianised area then I stop as soon as a person appears, however far away. However, some don’t of course, and that’s when the problems occur and when the social media and press ‘outrage’ begins.
