Mirasol, on the edge of Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos in Nerja, is a popular haunt throughout the day and evening, and has a good-sized terrace for enjoying al fresco dining and for watching the world go by.

It has always been popular, providing good, wholesome snacks and meals at a reasonable price in a pleasant atmosphere. I went for pork with pepper and Roquefort sauce. It came with fries and veggies and my plate was totally cleared…Most enjoyable.

Good location, good atmosphere, tasty food at reasonable prices, efficient service…Not my first visit and will not be my last.

Update: The restaurant has, I am informed, has changed hands.

August 9th 2023: Having been unable to get a table a couple of days earlier, we made a reservation. The place as packed with quite a lot of people patiently (or otherwise) waiting in the wings.

Steaks, fish, pork, pasta and various starters – I can confirm that the food is still very good quality. Service was good, too, so no adverse effects due to change of ownership (doesn’t always work out this way)
