It can be fun looking back through older photos – or even fairly recent ones – and reworking them, maybe out of a desire to use updated editing software (always being updated these days) or in order to try something new or a different style.
It is also a way to reacquaint yourself with some photos you’ve maybe ignored or forgotten about.

The first picture is a fairly regular monochrome/black and white edit of three girls chilling on the Balcón de Europa, Nerja. The scene just appealed and I couldn’t resist trying to capture it.

The second photo is with a sort of mild vintage look, which does seem to work in certain circumstances. I believe it does here, but I may of course be wrong, as is often the case. We call it ‘vintage’, although for people at the time it was probably a normal or even cutting edge look. Times change, technology moves forward in leaps and bounds.
